This albumw as made to hold pictures of my oldest daughter's recent trip to Paris. The "license plate" album is the actual size of a real license plate.
Instructions
1. Using the Cricut Expression Machine/Mickey Font Cartridge, multicut feature on, fit to page feature on, cut two license plates from chipboard.
2. Turn off multicut feature, and cut two license plates from the travel patterned paper.
3. Cut two license plates from the red cardstock.
4. Cut two license plate silhouettes from black cardstock.
5. For the inside pages of the album, cut four license plates from black cardstock.
6. To make the front/back covers, mod podge the license plate patterned paper pieces on top of the chipboard license plate pieces. Allow time to dry.
7. Adhere silhouette license plate piecess on top of the pattered paper license plate pieces. Allow time to dry.
8. For the inside front/back covers, mod podge the red cardstock license plate pieces to the chipboard. Allow time to dry.
9. Using mod podge, adhere the negative pieces from the silhouette cuts of the black cardstock on top of the red cardstock. Allow time to dry.
10. To make front cover title, attach I PARIS (the green canvas chipboard alpha) leaving room between the I and PARIS, for the scallop chipboard heart we will make using the Cricut Expression. Attach dimensional sticker border strips to the top and bottom.
11. To make heart, using the Cricut Expression Machine/Doodlecharms Cartridge, cut a 3-inch shadow from chipboard/red cardstock and shape from chipboard/travel striped patterned paper. Using mod podge, adhere the red cardstock to the chipboard scallop shadow piece and the patterned paper to the chipboard heart piece. Allow time to dry and adhere the heart shape to the top of the scallop shadow. Attach to the top of the heart the dimensional sticker EXPLORE. Attach entire piece in the space provided between the I and PARIS on the front of the license plate album.
12. To make the album's back cover, attach 2007 (canvas chipboard alpha, red) in the center. Attach dimensional sticker borders to the top and bottom of the license plate.
13. Using a foam brush and white acrylic paint, edge the front/back covers and inside pages. Try making the brush as dry as possible. Set aside for paint to dry.
14. Bind the album/pages together using the binder rings. Tie ribbons around the binder rings.
15. For the inside cover, a journaling panel was made, sized 10.5-inches-x-2-inches, using font and blue color from computer. Each picture throughout the book is sized 8-inches-x-4-inches. Each journaling spot throughout the book, save the first page, is sized 3-inches-x-4-inches. Between each picture/journaling spot, there is a scallop border (nine in total). This border was cut from Accent Essentials, Accent50, sized 1/2-inch, from travel patterned paper.
