Step 1: . Cut pieces. Place purse on patterned paper, trace, and cut out. Measure around outside edges to cut strips. Cut one 3 x 5" piece of brown cardstock. Place chipboard tag on cream cardstock, trace, and cut out.
Step 2: Emboss pieces. Using Cuttlebug machine and Script Texture embossing folder, embossing brown piece and cream tag.
Step 3: Remove handle of purse. Glue patterned paper to front, back, and around edges. Glue pewter eyelets into holes for handle. Sand edges of purse. Sponge ink around edges of purse, tag, and embossed pieces. Cut card from cream cardstock to fit into bookplate and ink edges.
Step 4: Place purse on top of brown embossed piece, trace rounded edge, and cut out. Adhere in place as shown. Adhere cream embossed tag to chipboard tag. Tie ribbon around edge of purse and trim. Attach remaining ribbon along edge of brown card and across purse as shown. Use paper piercer to make holes for brads in bookplate and hearts in ribbon. Place brads and attach bookplate as shown. Attach cream tag to ribbon around edge using 4" of chain. Attach remainder of chain as handle.
