Provo Craft Demonstrates New Cricut® Cartridges at CHA Winter

SPANISH FORK, UT - February 6, 2009 - Provo Craft www.provocraft.com today revealed three new Cricut® Solutions cartridges and four regular Cricut® cartridges for the award winning Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter. The cartridges were be showcased at the Craft & Hobby Association’s annual Winter Convention and Trade Show in Anaheim, CA.

“The new cartridges add increased depth to the Cricut Cartridge Library and answer the needs of many of our customers,” said Tonia Conger, Provo Craft’s vice president of consumer marketing. “All cartridges include sought-after designs and add the personal touch Cricut users are looking for in their projects.”

Cricut Solutions Cartridges
• Kitchen & Bath Décor: This cartridge contains numerous shapes, blackout, and shadow features to decorate and sophisticate any kitchen or bathroom. Crafters can cut shapes in vinyl or use as a stencil for painting to easily decorate any home.

• European Décor: Designed to bring elegance into the home, European Décor includes borders, icons, and phrases that can be combined to add a bit of timeless beauty to any room.“

• Stamping Solutions: Designer Kollette Hall created this cartridge for use with the Cricut Stamp Kit. Included shapes, blackouts, and shadow features lend themselves well to layering on cards, stamping on fabric, or simple embellishments for the wall or a piece of furniture.

Regular Cartridges
• Ashlyn’s Alphabet: This font cartridge has four beautiful fonts showcasing numbers, punctuation, icons, and shadows. Unique to this cartridge is the ability to create special letters and characters that allow users to create words in French, Spanish, German, Dutch and many other languages.

• A Child’s Year: “Cherish the simple things” is the motto of this cartridge. The cartridge celebrates the special moments in childhood and features over 100 intricately designed images, layers, and accessory images, all with coordinating cards and tags.

• Sports Mania: For all sports fans, this cartridge includes icons, frames, borders, and full-page cutouts. It also includes six creative features letting crafters personalize each image for their athlete.

• Calligraphy Collection: Perfect for all paper crafting and home décor needs; this cartridge holds simplistically elegant letters, phrases, icons, cards, and envelopes.

These seven cartridges debuted at the Craft & Hobby Association’s annual Winter Convention and Trade Show in Anaheim, CA. Several other new Provo Craft products also debuted, including the new Provo Craft Yudu™ Personal Screen Printer, Hannah Montana cartridge, and SpongeBob SquarePants cartridge.
